A man is in custody following a deadly shooting that resulted in one fatality and another injury.
On April 12, 2025, at around 10:30 p.m., Dallas police responded to reports of a shooting in the 7200 block of Fair Oaks Avenue. Initial investigations indicated that officers found two people who had been shot when they arrived at the scene. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported 27-year-old Mohamad Hassan Bin Mohamad to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The second victim was also rushed to a nearby hospital and is currently in stable condition.
The suspect, 21-year-old A San Poemei, has been apprehended and is facing charges of murder and aggravated assault.
The investigation is still ongoing.
