Oklahoma Woman Fatally Stabs Neighbor After Their Daughters Have A Fight With Each Other

An Oklahoma woman fatally stabbed her neighbor after their daughters were involved in a physical altercation.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office they responded to a stabbing call Thursday afternoon in Spencer.

When officers arrived to the residence on Fox Avenue they found the victim, 29 year old Vaneesa Wade, suffering from a stab wound. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

They then identified 31 year old Kayla Shanee McNeal as the suspect. She was arrested taken to the Oklahoma County Detention Center and charged with first degree murder. Authorities say McNeal could possibly face more charges.

While investigating officers learned that McNeal’s 10 year old daughter was involved in a physical fight with Wade’s 17 year old daughter. McNeal said she intervened and both girls went home.

Apparently when Wade’s daughter went home she called her mother who then came home. When Wade came home McNeal said she walked across the street to check her mail and that’s when the altercation began and Wade was stabbed.

McNeal was initially taken in for interviewing but after being uncooperative with authorities she was arrested.

It still has not been clarified why the two daughters were fighting. This investigation is ongoing.
