Oklahoma Police Find Over 30 Pounds Of Marijuana During Traffic Stop

On June 28 Atoka, Oklahoma police conducted a traffic stop and found 30 bags containing a green substance consistent with marijuana.

Around 2:51 a.m. officer Taylor Wood noticed a black BMW swerving in and out of lanes as well as switching lanes without using a signal.

Wood then turned his lights on to perform a traffic stop. Once he pulled the vehicle over Woods noticed a strong odor of marijuana.

He asked the driver were there any drugs in the vehicle and the driver stated there was nothing in the vehicle.

Officer Wood then asked the driver to step out of the vehicle while he conducted a search. While performing the search Wood found 30 vacuum sealed bags carrying a leafy substance consistent with marijuana in the trunk. He also found three boxes carrying 100 THC vape pens a piece.

The driver, whose name has not been released, was transported to Atoka County jail and charged with trafficking marijuana.

The total weight of the marijuana was 34.68.

  1. Cops say anything we don’t know if the driver really was swerving in and out of traffic probably just profiling the driver. Anyways ain’t Marijuana legal in Oklahoma 🤔

  2. Wow. I feel safer. Will the police be reimbursing local pizza and fast food restaurants for the lost revenue with all that terrible drug off the streets?
    Someone check the dashcam to see if they really were swerving. Doubt it.
