Officer Involved Shooting Left One Man Injured

An officer involved shooting left one man injured early Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the intersection of Spring Valley and Noel Rd.
While in route officers received several other calls about a black male standing in the intersection shooting rounds into the ground.
Once officers arrived they tried to get the suspect to drop his weapon and in the process he began walking towards officers.
An officer fired multiple rounds at the suspect striking him at least once.
The suspect tried to approach the officers again and another officer fired his weapon at the suspect striking him.
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he was treated for non life threatening injuries.
