An officer involved shooting in Garland left one man dead Friday night.
According to Garland police they responded to a call at the Landmark at Lake Village North apartments and when they arrived they found a man with two machetes outside damaging several cars.
The man then tried to approach officers and was shot multiple times by multiple officers. 
The suspect was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died.
This investigation is ongoing.
