Detectives are investigating an officer involved shooting that left a man injured Saturday evening in Pleasant Grove.
Officers responded to an active shooter call on the 200 block of Glenview Ct and received a call minutes later about shots being fired at CF Hawn Freeway and when they arrived to the scene they found a suspect suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was transported to a hospital with his condition unknown.
According to reports an officer was at the intersection of Buckner and CF Hawn Freeway in his squad car when the suspect got out of a pickup truck with a weapon and opened fire towards the police car.
The officer then got out of his car and returned fire striking the suspect.
The officer was not injured during the shooting.
This investigation is ongoing.
