Officer Involved Shooting In Fort Worth Leaves Two Men Dead

On July 5, around 12:25 a.m. a Fort Worth police officer and Fort Worth Fire Department Arson Investigator were responding to a call near the intersection of Ross Avenue and NW 32nd Street.

While passing the location the officers noticed an escalating altercation. They then encountered two men with weapons.

The officers immediately sprung into action and opened fire striking both men. One man was pronounced dead at the scene while the other was transported to an area hospital where he died.

Officers also located another male and female on the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both transported to a local hospital with their condition unknown.

This investigation remains ongoing.
