The Princeton PD is mourning the loss of one of their fellow officers that lost her life in an off duty crash over the weekend.
On Saturday April 20, around 5:20 p.m., Officer Nancy Dominguez was involved in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of E. Lucas Road and Lakeview Drive. She was transported to Medical City McKinney where she died from her injuries.
Dominguez joined the Princeton PD in July of 2022 and received multiple awards including Rookie of the Year, Citizen Commendation, Life Saving and many more.
The Princeton police department released a statement on social media stating, “We are devastated and heartbroken to share the passing of Officer Nancy Dominguez, a dedicated public servant and cherished member of the Princeton community.
As we mourn the loss of Officer Dominguez, please keep her family, fellow officers and coworkers, and friends in your thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace, Officer Dominguez.”
