On Thursday night, North Forney High School sent a message to parents making them aware of an anonymous social media threat that is circulating.
They informed parents that they are working with the Forney ISD Police Department and local police to investigate and learn where the threat came from. Although the threat didn’t name this school, specifically, they have stated that police and the school will hold the individuals accountable.
On Friday, December 8, extra assistance from police and administration will be on the campus, the school has noted. They have urged parents and students to say something of they observe something or see a message that may be problematic. The have also recommended that parents review their children’s social media accounts.
