North Carolina Man Accidentally Shot By 2 Year Old Son

A North Carolina man is dead after his 2 year old son found a gun and accidentally shot him Sunday.
According to reports the incident happened shortly after 9pm in a Gastonia home.
The 2 year old and his father, Markovia Lashawn Durham,29 were visiting his grandmother when the 2 year old found a handgun.
The toddler began playing with the gun, disarmed the weapon striking his father.
When emergency crews arrived they pronounced Durham dead at the scene.
Investigators have not fully confirmed the toddlers involvement in the shooting but say the investigation remains ongoing.
