Nick Cannon is currently facing backlash on social media because he and the Zeus Network are holding a “Dark Skin vs. Light Skin” event in Las Vegas.

On the flyer for the event, there were darker women on one side and lighter women on the other. It also stated that a special performance would take place by Sukihana.

The flyer was even posted on Lemuel Plummer’s page. He is the founder and CEO of the Zeus Network.

“Dark skin vs. light skin” by a black owned network in 2023 is CRAZY!” one person wrote.

“This really degrading and weird AF!” another person commented.

“So y’all promote, condone, finance, and capitalize off of colorism…GOT IT,” someone else expressed.

As of now, Lemuel has removed the flyer from his page. But not before someone else shared their opinion of Cannnon.

“Nick Cannon is a pathetic excuse for a Black man with his platform, and reach, to have his name associated with this colorist, low vibrational bulls-!”

The event, ‘Bad vs. Wild,’ is scheduled to take place on Thursday.
