A one million dollar indictment was passed down on May 6, 2020 to Lakee Donae Ealey,38 and Crystal Hernandez Ealey,33 who are both from Fort Worth and Rodrick Rashad McKinney,21 who is from Dallas.
The three had conspired to rob the Brinks Armored vehicle, they had scouted around the vehicle and the route that it would be taking, every action they took to this was traced by surveillance cameras, toll cameras, cell phone activity, snd license plate readers.
It was stated that Crystal was allegedly the one conducting surveillance on the armored truck at 8:15 a.m., waiting for the vehicle to pull over into the Chase Bank at 616 North Denton Tap Road where they proceed to rob it.
December 16, is when allegedly McKinney stole a Chevrolet pickup truck that was used in the robbery days leading up to the robbery that had previously bought burner phones on December 19, and on December 21, they all met up to get the vehicle utilized for the robbery.
It was estimated that $933,000 was stolen from the Brinks armored vehicle, after the robbery they set fire to the truck at 9:26 a.m. close to Canada Drive in Dallas.
Each defendant is facing up to forty-seven years in Federal Prison stated by the Federal prosecutors.
