Comedian Kevin Hart has broaden his talents and will appear in a new Netflix limited series, “True Story.” It will premiere on Wednesday, November, 24.
Netflix displayed a trailer for the seven-episode special. Hart plays “The Kid,” as Wesley Snipes (Dolemite is My Name), plays the character of older brother, Carlton.
The description read as follows, “a tour stop in Kid’s hometown of Philadelphia becomes a matter of life and death. Consequences of a lost evening with his wayward brother threaten to destroy everything he’s built.”
Other cast members include Tawny Newsome, Paul Adelstein, Will Catlett, and Chris Diamantopoulos. Lauren London, Ash Santos, John Ales, and Theo Rossi are in the series, as well.
“True Story” is Hart’s sixth release on Nextflix.
