On Wednesday, it was determined that Justin Wright, a 34-year-old songwriter and entrepreneur in the music industry, will spend the rest of his life in prison without parole. This is for the killing of his girlfriend.

In April, Wright, from Atlanta, was convicted of first-degree murder for the killing of 20-year-old Wilanna Bibbs.

In 2011, Wright founded Camp Entertainment Worldwide. This business has teamed up with artists such as Bow Wow, Timberland, Kash Doll, and DJ Khalid. After doing such, Wright became a multi-platinum songwriter.

On May 9, 2021, Bibbs, who wanted to become a singer, was fatally shot at a residence in Davenport, Iowa. The two had been seeing each other for a couple of months, and Bibbs’s father said that his daughter was killed over $70.

Wright never spoke as the sentencing phase of his trial took place. His mother requested to say goodbye to Bibbs while he was being led out of the courtroom; however, an officer shook his head no and left out of the courtroom.
