Multiple Killed In Explosions At Kabul Airport

Multiple casualties reported as two explosions happened today in Afghanistan.
One explosion happened right outside the Abbey gate at the Hamid Karzai International Airport in Kabul.
The second explosion happened at a nearby Baron Hotel.
11 U.S Marines and one Navy Medic died in the explosion.
So far 60 people have died and at least 140 people are hurt, 15 of those being U.S service members.
The Pentagon is reporting that the terrorist network ISIS-K is behind the attacks, which were suicide bombers.
The blasts stimmed from the US racing to evacuate American and Afghan civilians before the Aug 31st U.S military withdrawal date.
“The threat of ISIS-K is ‘extremely real’ and officials have been telegraphing warnings of attacks for several days,” according to Marine Corps Gen. Kenneth McKenzie Jr.
McKenzie added the U.S is prepared to retaliate over the deaths of the U.S service members.
