Last June, Nandi Fitzgerald, a Pennsylvania mother of four little boys, took her children on a birthday adventure.
While in a hotel pool, her 6-year-old son, Norez, drowned.
Now, tragedy has struck the woman’s family again. Authorities say that on December 31, 2021, around 4:00 a.m., Nandi and her 13-year-old son, Denzel Nolan Jr., were fatally shot.
Officials say Tatiana Hill, 28, was also found shot to death inside the residence in the Homewood South neighborhood of Pittsburgh.
Police say that one woman was found shot in the head when they initially came on the scene. The other woman and victim were found after a search of the location.
Authorities do not have a suspect at this time, and a motive is unclear.
“Nandi was an amazing mom who loved her boys more than anything…She has two surviving children, 6 and 1, that are left without their mother and big brother. This year has been absolutely devastating for our family,” her family wrote in a GoFundMe.
