Mother Throws Infant At Baby Daddy In Heated Argument

A Louisiana mother has been arrested for allegedly throwing her infant child at the father during a heated argument.
Heidi Rios, 24 of Terrytown, La allegedly threw her 3 week old son at her child’s father while they were arguing Thursday night. The man took the infant to a New Orleans Hospital where they found out the babies skull was fractured. Doctors contacted police to notify them of the situation and the woman was arrested the next day and charged with cruelty to a child. Rios initially denied throwing or even holding the child but later told authorities that she may have accidentally dropped the infant.
Doctors say the child’s injuries were non life threatening.
