Mother Records Herself Covered In Blood After Fatally Stabbing 4-Year-Old Daughter, Seriously Wounding 2-Year-Old Son

On Sunday, a mother in New Orleans was apprehended. This was after being accused of fatally stabbing her 4-year-old daughter and trying to do the same to her 2-year-old son.

31-year-old Janee Pedescleaux was taken into custody and faces several charges. This includes attempted murder and second-degree cruelty to a juvenile. She is said to have stabbed the children at a residence in the 3100 block of Law Street in the Florida area.

Around 11 a.m., authorities arrived to the address and discovered that the children has been transported to a medical facility.

The girl, Paris Roberts, was declared deceased at the hospital. The boy had been listed in critical condition.

Detectives believe that the mother is the person in a disturbing recording that had been posted to social media, earlier on Sunday.

In the recording, Pedescleaux is observed wearing a bonnet and a white tank top that was covered in blood.

“I’m done. My children are dead. I’m done. I’m done with life,” she says as she was frantically crying.

Court documents show that the mother and the children’s father, Jermaine Roberts, had been going through a custody battle.

In April, Roberts had filed a lawsuit against Pedescleaux. He wanted joint custody and the ability to see his children on the weekends. It was also noted that Roberts said the mother was preventing him from seeing his kids, and they weren’t in a good environment.

A hearing in that matter was supposed to take place later this month.
