Mother Convicted Of Murder In Death Of Infant Son Found Dead In Baby Swing

An Iowa mother was found guilty of murder in the death of her baby boy that was found deceased in a baby swing back in 2017.
Cheyenne Harris,21 was convicted of first degree murder and child endangerment resulting in death by a jury Wednesday.
The incident occurred back in August of 2017 when her 4 month old son Sterling Kohen’s lifeless body was found in a hot room in a swing wearing a maggot infested diaper.
Medical examiners performed an autopsy and determined Kohen’s cause of death was malnutrition, dehydration and an E. Coli bacteria infection.
Harris will be sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. The father Zachary Kohen was convicted of the same charges and was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole back in November.
