A mother and son were arrested after a robbery turned shooting at a Dollar General in Heartland, Tx.
The incident happened at 2:45p.m., at Farm-to-Market(FM) Dollar General. Police stated that there were only two groups involved with the robbery.
One of the groups had fled South on FM 74 according to the police the mother was the one leading the chase in the vehicle, while her son was shooting out the window at the vehicle that was originally trying to flee.
Both vehicles had come within the close proximity of the Crandall Police Department and they all had been detained by the police and held for questioning.
The mother was identified as Zandra Denashia Wilson,47 once she had been arrested they charged her with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. While her son Duane Wilson,19 was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
Both are currently being held at the Kaufman County Jail and are waiting for arraignment.
No bond has been mentioned for this duo at the press conference.
