Mississippi Toddler Stabbed And Placed In Hot Oven Has Been Laid To Rest

Family joined together Saturday to lay 20 month old Royalty Floyd to rest in Clarksdale after being stabbed and placed in a hot oven by her grandmother.
Royalty was stabbed and placed in a hot oven last month by her grandmother Carolyn Jones,48.
Autopsy reports found that the toddler was placed in the oven while she was still alive and the cause of death was repeated stab wounds and thermal injuries.
Jones is being held at Bolivar County and being charged with first degree murder.
She has a pending bail of $500,000.
She is using a public defender who has declined to make any comments at this time.
