A missing kayaker is said to have been pulled from the Trinity River on Sunday.
The kayaker is said to have been missing since June 19. The family reported him missing when they saw his vehicle parked under highway 175 in Crandall, Saturday.
Family believe he went kayaking on the Trinity River.
Rescuers found the kayak tangled up in some trees about miles south of the bridge where his car was located. They later found his body about three miles south of 175 and 300 yards upstream.
Villarreal was pronounced deceased by a Kaufman County judge, and his body was sent to the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office in Dallas for an autopsy.
