Four people have been arrested, in Atlanta, for human trafficking after a 14-year-old went missing for seven weeks.
An investigation started in January when the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children sent out an alert. As a result, detectives were able to find the child at the end of February.
On November 2 and December 6, The Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit in Fulton County was able to get warrants for suspects that were involved.
Jody Netter,35, was charged with rape, child molestation, and cruelty to children for human trafficking for sexual servitude. He was previously in custody for stolen property and possession of a firearm by a felon. He has an $11,000 bond.
Courdale Thayer is charged with cruelty to children, false imprisonment, and aggravated assault in connection to human trafficking.
Jahaundria Seabron and Raphel Sewer have both been charged with one count of human trafficking.
If found guilty, all suspects could be sentenced to life in prison.
