Mesquite Woman Charged With Deadly Conduct In Connection To A Shooting In A Forney Residential Neighborhood

As of Tuesday a Mesquite woman was arrested arrested and charged with deadly conduct in connection with the shooting in a residential neighborhood in Forney, Texas.
Approximately at 6:30 p.m. reports of a shooting at the Park Trails had been called in and the Forney Police Department had dispatched officers to the scene. 
When they had arrived they discovered expanded shell casings in the park. The bullets had been inside of the trees and a residence at 100 block Acadia Lane and bullet impacts on a tree and a residence.
Thankfully no one had been injured in this shooting.
The Forney Police Department stated that “In partnership with nearby residents who provided a description of a vehicle leaving the scene as well as video footage, members of the Foney Police Department Criminal Investigations Division were able to identify a suspect.”
A search and arrest warrant had been issued at a residence in the 500 block of Cartwright in Balch Springs on September 9, 2020. The warrant was executed by the members of the Forrney-Terrell SWAT Team as well as the patrol officers from the Balch Springs Police Department, they arrested Carissa Arreola.
Carissa had been charged with a third-degree felony, deadly conduct. Information about her bound has not been released as of late.
