Mesquite hairstylist gives haircuts to people in need

Tabitha Herrod, in an attempt to help those struggling financially feel confident, gives free haircuts.

She has provided these services to more than 100 people with limited income and transportation.

Herrad has been a hairstylist for more than ten years and knows the importance of looks, and how a new hairstyle can improve self-esteem.

Her goal is to expand her operation by obtaining a salon bus in order to provide onsite makeovers.

She wants to be able to give a true salon experience to people in schools and or shelters.

Herrod is hosting a Block party on May 13th, at Forest Park 2914 Parnell Street in Dallas Texas to raise funds for the projects.

She will be joined by other hairstylists and barbers to help her raise money for the salon bus.
