Memphis police officer Patric Ferguson,29 was fired and arrested for allegedly kidnapping and murdering a man while on duty January 6.
Around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday Robert Howard,30 was
reported missing by his girlfriend to the Memphis Police Department.

She stated that his last known location had been at home, at Mark Twain Street Tuesday night, around 5 p.m.
She also stated that she used an app to track his cell phone, and found it near Lama Avenue and Shelby Drive, but he was nowhere to be found.
Police said that they found a body Sunday, believed to be Howard’s, in the area of Second Street and the Wolf River Bridge.
After an investigation, Memphis police stated that Ferguson had allegedly taken Robert from his home, forced him into the back of his squad car, and shot him with his personal handgun. According to police the motive for the murder is unclear but Ferguson and Robert knew each other.
After the investigation Ferguson was “immediately relieved of duty” and arrested.
He was charged with first degree murder, first degree murder in perpetration of aggravated kidnapping, abuse of a corpse, and fabricating and tampering with evidence.
Memphis Police Director Micheal Rallings stated that “No one is above the law. Knowing that a Memphis Police Officer, someone who took an oath to protect and serve, made the decision to commit this horrific crime is devastating. His actions were not that of a law enforcement officer and should not reflect on fellow officers.”
Joshua Rogers,28 was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact, abuse of a corpse, and fabricating and tampering with evidence. It is stated that he is a friend of Ferguson and allegedly after Robert’s death assisted in relocating the body.
Ferguson has not been granted bail and remains at Shelby County Jail, but Joshua has been released on a twenty-five thousand dollar bond. They both have been scheduled to appear in Court Monday.

What Is PCT In Bodybuilding? Understanding Its Importance And Benefits

PCT, or Post-Workout Recovery and Rehabilitation, is a critical component of
any effective bodybuilding routine. It refers to the period
after intense training when your muscles undergo repair, recovery, and
    growth.

The Basics: What Does PCT Stand For?

PCT stands for Post-Workout Recovery and Rehabilitation. It is
the phase immediately following a workout where your body begins to
repair muscle fibers, restore energy levels, and prepare for the next session.
Proper PCT ensures that you can maintain peak performance and avoid
    injury.

    The Purpose of PCT

The primary purpose of PCT is to enhance recovery, reduce muscle soreness, prevent
injuries, and promote overall fitness gains. By prioritizing PCT,
athletes and bodybuilders can optimize their progress, improve performance, and maintain a high level of activity.

    How Does PCT Work?

PCT works through a series of phases: warm-up, workout, cooldown, and recovery.
During the workout phase, your muscles are under intense stress, which leads to microtears in muscle fibers.
The recovery phase ensures that these tears are
repaired, and new muscle growth is stimulated.

The Benefits of Incorporating PCT into Your Bodybuilding Routine

    1. **Muscle Repair and Growth**: PCT helps repair damaged muscle tissue and promotes muscle growth through a process called protein synthesis.

    2. **Injury Prevention**: Regular PCT reduces the risk of injury by allowing your body to
recover completely before the next workout.

    3. **Boosted Metabolism**: The recovery process after exercise
boosts metabolism, which can aid in fat burning and
    overall health.

    4. **Improved Endurance**: Regular PCT ensures that your
body is ready for prolonged physical activity, enhancing endurance over time.

    5. **Maintaining Peak Performance**: By dedicating time to PCT, you ensure that your
body is primed for optimal performance during training and competitions.

The Importance of Professional Guidance during PCT

When incorporating PCT into your routine, it’s essential to
seek professional guidance from a coach, physical therapist, or trainer.
They can help you design an effective program tailored to
your goals, minimize the risk of injury, and optimize recovery.

    Sports

PCT is not just for professional athletes or bodybuilders.
It’s a fundamental aspect of fitness for anyone looking to improve their
physical performance and maintain a healthy
    lifestyle.

    Sporting Events

Whether you’re preparing for a marathon, a gym competition, or simply wanting to stay fit, PCT plays
a vital role in your success. It ensures that you can push
harder during training sessions while reducing the risk of burnout and injury.

    Games

For individuals involved in competitive sports or games, PCT is often a cornerstone of their preparation. Proper recovery allows them to perform at
their best during matches or events.

    Activities

Regardless of the type of physical activity you’re
engaged in, PCT is crucial for maintaining muscle function, reducing fatigue,
and enhancing overall performance. It’s a practice that
benefits everyone from casual gym-goers to elite athletes.
