A mechanic slammed a $3.4 million Ferrari into a tree stump as he was giving it a test drive in the Netherlands. The vehicle was totaled.
Described as a bright red Enzo sports car, the automobile was only one of 400 of its kind that was made.
Reports indicate that two wheels came off, and the car may not be able to be repaired.
The alleged local mechanic was not harmed but was transported to a hospital for precautionary measures.
A witness to the wreck stated that it seemed as though the driver wanted to return the custom-owned vehicle to the dealership that was close by.
“The weather conditions were damp and chilly, maybe 3 degrees in temperature.”
The Enzos were made from 2002 to 2004. Although they cost about $609,921 back then, their value has increased tremendously.
In August 2021, a 2003 Ferrari Enzo was sold for $3,360,000 by RM Sotheby.
