Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, announced on Tuesday that he is raising cattle at his ranch in Hawaii.
On Instagram and Facebook, Zuckerberg said that his mission is to “create some of the highest quality beef in the world.” He added that the wagyu and Angus cattle that he raising will be consuming “macadamia meal and drinking beer that we grow and produce here on the ranch.”
It is known to many that some cattle farmers give their animals beer to increase their appetites although it isn’t a regular practice as some believe.
Zuckerberg stated that he is need of “a lot of acres of macadamia trees” so that each of his cows could consume 5,000 to 10,000 pounds of feed each year. He added that his goal is to continue the feed and raise methods “local and vertically integrated.”
Zuckerberg hasn’t spoken much about his compound, Ko’olau Ranch, that is on the island of Kauai. He started buying the land in 2014 and has been criticized for his affect on the local community.
He had received backlash for trying to get Native Hawaiians to sell their ancestral land through the courts. In 2017, he apologized and vowed to drop the lawsuits.
Last month, it was also reported that Zuckerberg is constructing an underground bunker at his huge Hawaii compound.
It allll makes sense now…..now we know why hawaii “accidentally” caught on fire.
