A man was attacked and killed by a pack of dogs near his Florida home Thursday.
According to reports Melvin Olds Jr,45 was taking a shortcut home Thursday when he was attacked and mauled to death by a pack of dogs.
The man was found near his home with over 100 dog bites on his body.
Autopsy report showed Olds had no other injuries to his body besides the bite marks.
Sheriff’s set up several traps in the area and have captured 6 stray dogs that they believe were involved in the attack.
Although the bite marks aren’t enough evidence the dogs DNA will be compared to the DNA from Olds wounds.
Sheriff’s have warned residents in the area to stay in the house or if they see loose dogs that seem aggressive to contact police. 
Deputies are investigating and trying to confirm ownership for the dogs.
