After paying over $14,000 for a custom-made collie costume, a Japanese man has turned himself into a dog.
The man known as “Toco,” online, says that the costume has allowed him to live out his dream of becoming an animal.
A recording from his 32,000 subscriber YouTube channel depicts him clad in the costume as he moves, rolls on the floor, and plays fetch.
Toco also recorded himself going out into public for the first time. Onlookers seemingly looked shocked as he went along a busy street.
Although Toco has a harness strap around the furry abdomen part of the costume, he has confessed that he is nervous and fearful when in public.
He added that he chose to become a collie because of the noticeable size difference between them and humans.
It took 40 days to make the $14,000 costume made by Zeppet. It is made to look like a real dog, walking on four legs.
Although he has become well-known online, Toco says that he usually prefers to not make it known what hobby he loves the most.
“They think it’s weird that I want to be a dog. For the same reason why I can’t show my real face,” he said.
