The man who brutally murdered a Sachse father in his own home was sentenced to life in prison.

43-year-old Brandon Dale of Dallas was found guilty of capital murder for the death of 38-year-old Salah Eid.

He was subsequently sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole after prosecutors decided to not seek the death penalty.

On the day of the June 2021 murder and robbing of Eid, Dale and two other men were seen on camera entering the victim’s home around midnight.

The three men were later seen on video loading items into vehicles, including two belonging to the victims. One of these vehicles was found abandoned in a parking lot.

Cellphone data showed that Eid’s stolen phone was inside a storage facility owned by Dale. Text messages on Dale’s phone revealed plans to rob and kill the victim.

Eid’s body was discovered by police after he did not return to work for several days. He suffered visible blunt force trauma to the head and stab wounds.
