Man Struck And Killed By 18 Wheeler While Trying To Cross Interstate

A man was walking on Interstate 35 late Thursday night was struck by an 18 wheeler and killed.
The incident happened a little before midnight in the Redbird area when an 18 wheeler struck the unidentified man.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and officers say the driver of the 18 wheeler stopped and stayed at the scene until officers arrived.
No charges are expected to be filed.
