Man Shot And Killed While Grilling On His Front Porch

A man was shot and killed during a robbery while barbecuing on his porch late Sunday night.
According to reports officers responded to a robbery/ shooting call on the 1100 block of E. Hobson Avenue and when they arrived they found a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
Authorities say the man was grilling on his porch when the suspect approached and tried to rob him.
It is unclear at the time if the suspect took any of his belongings but he fled the scene after shooting the man.
The unidentified victim was transported to a nearby hospital by emergency crews where he later died from his injuries.
This investigation is ongoing.
