Man Shot And Killed By Ft. Worth Police

An 18 year old man was shot and killed by Ft. Worth police Wednesday after he pulled a gun on them.
According to Ft. Worth police officers tried to approach the Amari Malone,18 on the 5800 block of Boca Raton Blvd regarding a recent murder.
The Malone then took off running on foot and reportedly pulled out a gun and pointed it at officers when he saw them chasing behind him.
The officer then pulled out his weapon and opened fire striking Malone.
He was transported to a nearby hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Officers retrieved the handgun at the scene and no officers were injured.
Detectives are still investigating.
