Man Shot And Arrested By Security Guard After Stealing A Vehicle

On April 21, around 9:40 p.m., officers responded to an assist call on the 700 block of Cantregral Street.

According to reports a private investigator was trying to arrest 29 year old Kaland Spencer on outstanding warrants.

Spencer stole an unknown persons vehicle and the private investigator discharged his firearm striking Spencer.

Spencer was transported to an area hospital where he was treated for his injuries and then booked into Dallas County Jail for unlawful use of a motor vehicle and assault on a security guard.
