Woman Shot in Dallas During Disagreement

Dallas police are investigating after a woman was injured when a man shot into her vehicle.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 3000 block of E. Illinois Ave.
Once they arrived they found a female victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The woman was transported to an area hospital with her condition unknown.
During investigation officers learned the woman was with a male friend when they had some sort of disturbance that turned violent.
The man, armed with a weapon, shot through the woman’s door striking her.
The male suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive.
This investigation remains ongoing.
