Arlington police were called to a resident, early Wednesday morning, in the 6100 block of Vancil Dr. after a man said he shot at three suspects attempting to break into his sons vehicle.

Greg Willis stated that just prior to 2 a.m., his Ring camera alerted him. He said that he called his son to determine if that was him that was outside. When his son said that it wasn’t, he and his son traveled down the block to pursue the suspects.

He disclosed to authorities that when they approached the suspects, at least one of them retrieved a firearm and started shooting. That’s when he shot back.

No one was injured in the occurrence.

Authorities say that the suspects fled, but they were able to locate two of them hiding in a shed. They added that they also found a firearm, and the two suspects were arrested.

Keaundre Lemon, 19, was taken to the Arlington Jail for criminal trespass and an outstanding warrant that he had.
