Man Sentenced To Over 35 Years For Pornographic Pictures Of Six-Year Old Girls

A man from Grand Prairie has been given 430 months in federal prison.

Juan Navarro Jr, 38, pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and possession of child pornography back in January.

On Thursday, he received his sentence after sexually exploiting two six- year old girls. Navarro confessed to getting a child involved in sexual behavior in order to produce sexual images of the conduct in 2019. He also noted that he did keep many sexual pictures of children on his cell phone.

He was first investigated when Yahoo contacted authorities about someone uploading child pornography. The email account was linked back to Navarro.

At first, Navarro claimed that he didn’t even know the girls. Then, the children’s mother confirmed that he did, in fact, know them. She had recognized the seats in his car as she was shown the stored images.

The girls are now getting psychological and medical assistance.
