An Indianapolis woman was the victim of a strange crime when a man robbed  her at gun point then forcing the victim to follow him on Facebook.

Amber Beraun had just arrived  home from work at 4 a.m. on May 8. She initially went inside to feed her pets, and went back outside to retrieve her mail, according to court documents.

The woman was approached by Damien Boyce who pulled out a gun and demanded to go inside her home, investigators alleged, according to local station WTHR.

Instead of letting him in she gave him $100 cash from tips she received from work. Boyce  then asked Amber if she had a boyfriend, and he asked if she could add him on Facebook so that he could pay her back the money he stole from her.

He gave her  his name and Facebook handle for her to follow him, and she complied.

“I thought if maybe I added him on Facebook, he would leave, and he did,” Beraun told WRTV.

A probable cause affidavit shows the messages exchanged between the two.

The gunman, identified as Damien Boyce, proceeded to hit on the victim on Facebook.

“Look just know imma pay you back ik it’s a [expletive] up way to meet but damn you was too pretty to rob,” wrote Boyce.

Beraun replied writing “I believe you man I can tell your sweet times just get rough I know that.”

Boyce continued to send the woman messages “I feel like a total [expletive] I swear I got you wats ur cash app tagg.”

“Fr I’m shifty we had to meet up on them terms come chill with me I swear I’m not on that type of timing,” he wrote.

Beraun told Boyce that she had a boyfriend and wished him the best.

Indianapolis authories  discovered the Facebook messages during their investigation.

Reports say that  Boyce was charged with armed robbery and carrying a handgun as a felon and held on a $7,500 bond.

In a separate armed robbery that occurred  on June 12, Boyce was accused of shooting two people and hitting another on the head with a brick.

According to police the incident occurred  after an argument between Boyce and the victims. Boyce then  barricaded himself before a SWAT team arrived, allegedly.

Boyce later surrendered to officers and was charged with burglary, unlawful possession of a weapon, criminal recklessness, and battery, according to the New York Post.
