Man Posing As Mail Carrier Shoots Two People Inside Their Chicago Home

A man posing as a mail carrier shot two people inside their Chicago home Thursday afternoon.
According to reports an unknown man dressed up as a mail carrier and shot a man and woman on the 9900 block of South State Street inside their home.
Police say the gunman knocked on the door and told the 27 year old man he had a package for him, and when he opened the door the gunman opened fire shooting the man in the chest multiple times.
There was also a 23 year old woman in the home that was shot in her lower body area. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital, the male was listed in critical condition and the woman was listed in stable condition.
Chicago police are investigating and searching for the gunman.
