A man allegedly shoots and kills his girlfriend on social media and injured an officer.
Police were called out to the home located on the 1300 block of Natalie St. in Shreveport, La where the officer and suspect exchanged gunfire. The suspect barricaded himself in the home for over an hour before coming out and surrendering to police. When police entered the home they discovered Rannita Williams with a single gun shot wound. She was rushed to a nearby hospital with life threatening injuries and was pronounced dead on arrival and the officer that was shot in the wrist was in stable condition.
The suspect was allegedly upset about something the victim posted on social media and while she was apologizing to the world the unnamed suspect shot the victim.
The name of the victim and officer have not yet been released. This case is still under investigation.
