A man was killed following a disturbance at a Greenville apartment complex during an officer involved shooting.
On February 7 around 5:55pm officers responded to a disturbance at the Ranchview Apartments on the 5700 block of Industrial.
The disturbance involved tenants in the apartment complex.
Around 9:20pm officers were dispatched to the same apartments regarding shots fired.
When they arrived they found a male discharging a rifle and a handgun. When they asked the male to drop the weapon he pointed it in the direction of the officers.
Officers discharged their weapon striking the male. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
