A man died after getting into an altercation with another person in East Dallas Tuesday afternoon during a drug deal gone bad.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 2400 block of Millmar Dr at the Harry Stone Recreation Center and when they arrived they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
According to authorities the victim said he knew the suspect and they had gotten into an altercation and began shooting at one another.
One person was transported to a nearby hospital with their condition unknown and the other was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was later identified as Garrido Hernandez and during interviewing he told officers that he got into an altercation with the victim while inside the vehicle.
Hernandez was later arrested and charged with murder.
The victims identity has not been released at this time.
