Man Killed By Southwest Jet Plane Landing In Austin

A man was struck down Thursday at Austin’s airport by a Southwest Airlines Jet landing on a runway.
Stated by the pilot of Southwest Airline Flight 1392, a Boeing 737 arriving from Dallas, said they had seen a person on the runway 17R at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport shortly after the landing at 8:12p.m..
The FAA stated that the driver of an airport operstaionvechile had found the body later on the runway.
The airport stated on Twitter that the Austin Police Department are working with them to investigate this, as well as the maintenance crew will be working early Friday to prepare for the reopening of the runway.
The identity of the person killed on the runway has not been released.
