Axel Giovany Casseus, 21, has been charged in relation to a mass fentanyl overdose involving cadets from West Point, a notable military academy in New York.
On Friday, Casseus was apprehended for cocaine trafficking. On Thursday, the cadets and two other people are said to have overdosed on fentanyl-laced cocaine. They were in Florida for spring break, officials say.
While the spring breakers were at their Airbnb rental property, Cassesus is accused of providing the drugs.
Four male West Point cadets were found in the front yard of the rental property suffering from cardiac arrest. Narcan had to be used on two of them in order to be revived. They were then transported to a hospital.
Two other people weren’t receptive to the Narcan and were taken to the hospital and were listed in critical condition.
Casseus was apprehended after he attempted to sell 43 grams of cocaine for $1,000. The would-be buyer was an undercover detective with the Broward County drug task force. The transaction was recorded on camera.
Casseus is in custody on a $50,000 bond.
Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this
site. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very
difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness
and visual appearance. I must say you have done a amazing job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads very fast for me on Internet explorer.
Excellent Blog!
Excellent post. I will be facing many of these issues as well..
Spot on with this write-up, I actually feel this amazing site needs far more attention. I’ll probably be returning to see more, thanks for the information!
