An investigation is currently in progress following a tragic incident involving a family member that occurred over the weekend.
On December 29, 2024, around 11:20 p.m., officers were called to a disturbance in the 1900 block of Caddo Street. Preliminary reports indicated that the suspect, 52-year-old Ketsanasak Nachampassak, inflicted injuries on the victim through violent actions. Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived on the scene; however, the victim, 88-year-old Vannakham Nachampassak, was declared dead at the location.
The suspect has been taken into custody and charged with murder, with confirmation that the victim and suspect are related.
