Man Found Shot To Death In Dallas Apartment Complex

Dallas police are investigating an overnight shooting that left a man dead.

On July 20, just before 10 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call on the 1000 block of Grisby Avenue. Upon arriving they found Brione Jacquil Spencer, 31 suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound.

Emergency crews arrived and transported the victim to an area hospital where he died from his injuries.

Authorities believe there was some sort of altercation between the suspect and the victim when the suspect pulled out a gun and opened fire. The suspect fled the scene before officers could arrive.

Police are working to review the surveillance cameras in the complex to try and identify the shooter.
