A man was found shot in the head early Friday morning in Old East Dallas.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 1400 block of S. Fitzhugh Ave and when they arrived they found a man laying on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital with his condition unknown at this time.
No suspects have been arrested and authorities are investigating.
The motive behind the shooting is still unclear at this time.
