Ian Cross, 29, is suing The Denver Dating Co. for allegedly not having an appropriate amount of women on their website.

Cross said that he paid $9,409.80 for his subscription services. However, he says that there were only 5 females in the 18 to 35 age range.

Cross expressed that he was looking for women that were single and around his age. He was told that there were a plethora of women on the site who were from 25 to 35 years of age.

Cross said that he joined the online website in February. After noticing he had few options, he contacted the company and demanded to get his money back. Initially, he talked with them; however, they later ceased communication with him.

Cross has filed a lawsuit claiming false inducement and deceptive trading practices.

“The Denver Dating Co. uses online reviews of fake or phony consumers…. to generate a misleading impression with the public regarding the quality and characteristics of its services,” the lawsuit reads.
