An investigation is underway after a man was fatally shot inside a San Antonio LA Fitness.
The incident occurred around 7 p.m. Monday on the 7100 block of Blanco Road.
A male suspect, identified as 32 year old Jessie Marqui MacWilliams, walked into the fitness center and shot the unidentified victim in the head, from behind. He then fled the scene but was arrested shortly after and charged with murder.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
Officers also recovered a handgun at the scene that they believe was used during the murder.
After a thorough investigation officers believe the shooting was targeted but do not have a motive.
This investigation is ongoing.
